هكذا يمكن أن تؤثر سوريا على مستقبل الإنسانية

يعرض علي دائما صور حشود من الأطفال, آلاف و آلاف منهم يتجولون متشبثين ببعضهم البعض حائرين, لا يدركون كيف قتل آباؤهم, وكيف دمرت بيوتهم وكيف أن حياتهم في خطر. إني أرى أن الأطفال يتعلمون الكراهية والانتقام.
أنا أتحدث هنا عن سوريا. بعض الأشخاص سألوني لماذا أهتم إلى هذا الحد بسوريا؟ لماذا ليس أوكرانيا أو جنوب السودان أو أي أماكن أخرى تحصل فيها الفظائع؟
لا أعرف تماما. كل ما أعرفه أنني أخبرت أن سوريا تشكل نقطة محورية لمستقبل العالم. إنني أرى ما يمكن أن يحصل ما لم يحل الوضع في سوريا؛ وأرى كيف يمكن أن يتطور صراع كبير وكيف يمكن أن يقود إلى خسائر فادحة في الأرواح حول العالم, وما هي العواقب التي يمكن أن تؤثر علينا جميعا.
كما أرى الناجين من المشاعر الإنسانية مثل اليأس والغضب, التي لم نقم نحن كشعوب العالم بما يكفي لنزع فتيل الأزمة, ولم يقم زعماء العالم وسوريا بما يكفي لوقفها, والناس في العالم مشغولون جدا في حياتهم الخاصة بحيث لا يقفون لتحقيق هذه المطالب فإن على قادتهم أن يتحركوا لفعل شيء ما.
إلى جانب رؤية اليأس هذه أرى أن هناك مستقبل بديل مفعم بالأمل. كما أني أرى أنه إذا استمع العالم وقام بالأمور الصحيحة فإن حل الصراع في سوريا يمكن أن يغير عالمنا إلى الأفضل. الدروس المستفادة من حل الأزمة السورية يمكن أن تقدم لنا نموذجا جديدا للسلام في عالمنا. نموذج يمكن لقادتنا مجتمعين ان يعملوا من خلاله نحو مستقبل إنساني أفضل ويضعوا جانبا قضايا المال والسلطة والنفوذ. ويمكن أن تكون هذه هي المرة الأولى التي يحل فيها السلام بهذه الطريقة ويمكن أن يقود إلى طريقة جديدة لحل أي صراع.
ولكني لم أتبين كيف يمكن لهذا الأمر أن يبدأ دون أن يكون لأمريكا دور رئيسي, وكيف أن على الرئيس أوباما أن يقف وأن يكون لديه الشجاعة الكافية ليظهر القيادة الحقيقية.
أتصور أن أولئك الذين لم يتعرفوا علي من قبل سوف يقولون من هي هذه المرأة؟ من تظن نفسها لتتكلم بهذه الطريقة؟ أنا امرأة عادية, وغير مثقفة, وأم وأرملة أرى الملائكة حقيقة أمامي منذ أن ولدت. أراهم وأتحدث إليهم يوميا. وأعلم تماما أن بعضكم ربما يراني حالمة, وبعضكم ربما يرى أني واهمة. لا أهتم أن ترفضني كشخص, ولكنني أرى أنه من المحبط جدا أن يكون من الصعب جعل الناس يستمعون للرسالة التي أقدمها. من الصعب جدا علي أن أجلس جانبا وأنظر إلى العالم وهو في طريقه إلى الدمار. لن أتوقف برغم كل هذا وسوف أستمر في استخدام كل نفس أملكه وكل فرصة تتاح لي لنشر هذه الرسائل. لن أستستلم مطلقا.
جميعنا بحاجة لنصلي لإيجاد حل للحرب في سوريا. وإذا كنا صلينا فعلا فإن علينا أن نصلي أكثر, وإن لم نكن صلينا بعد علينا أن نبدأ الآن. مهما كان ديننا فإننا جميعا بحاجة للصلاة لصالح الناس المشاركين في النزاع, حتى الأشخاص الذين نزدريهم. علينا أن نصلي عسى ولعلى أن يستمع جميع الأشخاص المشاركون وقادة سوريا وأن يقوموا بالأمر الصحيح.
ومع ذلك لا يمكن لنا أن نكتفي بالصلاة, علينا أن نقف ونطالب بأن يتحرك قادتنا, كما يتوجب علينا دعم جميع أولئك الذين دمرت حياتهم بسبب ما حصل حتى الآن. أود أن أناشدكم جميعا لتقدموا ما بوسعكم أن تقدموه, حتى لو قدمتم يورو أو دولار لمساعدة المتضريين من الصراع, لصالح منظمات مثل اليونيسف أو الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر الدولي وأنقذوا الأطفال.
بالنظر إلى الأزمة السورية الآن, ربما نحن كبشر ليس بوسعنا أن نرى أن هناك حلا. لهذا علينا أن نصلي. للصلاة أثر كبير جدا. وكل الصلوات مهمة. ربما تكون صلاتك التي تؤديها هي ما سيحدث الفارق.

How Syria Could Affect the Future of Humanity

I keep being shown crowds of children, thousands and thousands of them walking around clinging to each other, bewildered, not understanding how their parents have been killed, how their homes have been destroyed and how their very lives are in danger. I am shown these innocent children learning to hate, learning to want revenge.
I'm talking about Syria. Some people have asked me why I am so exercised by Syria? Why not Ukraine or Southern Sudan or any of the other places where there are atrocities happening?
I don't fully know. All I know is that I am being told that Syria is a pivotal point for the world's future. I have been shown what could happen if the situation in Syria is not resolved; I have been shown how a major conflict could develop that leads to a massive loss of life all around the world, with consequences that impact us all.
I have been shown the survivors of humanity feeling such despair and anger that we, the people of the world, had not done enough to diffuse this situation, that the leaders of the world and Syria didn't do enough to stop it, and that the people of the world were too preoccupied with that was going on in their own lives to stand up and demand that their leaders act.
Alongside this vision of despair I am shown an alternate very hopeful future. I am shown that if the world listens and does the right things then the resolution of the conflict in Syria can change our world for the better. That the lessons learnt in resolving the Syrian crisis can provide us with a new model for peace in our world. A model where our leaders get together for the good of humanity and leave aside issues of money, power and influence. This would be the first time that peace would be brought about in this way and would lead to a new way to resolve conflict.
I have not been shown how this begins to happen other than being told that America has a key role -- that President Obama has to stand up and have the courage to show real leadership.
I imagine that those of you who haven't come across me before are saying who is this woman? Who is she to say these things? I am an ordinary woman, an uneducated woman, a mother and widow who has been seeing angels physically from the time I was born. I see and speak to them every day. I am very aware that some of you may dismiss me as a fantasist, someone who is delusional. I don't mind you dismissing me as a person, but I find it very frustrating that it is so hard to get people to listen to the messages I am given. It is very difficult for me to sit by and watch the world on a path to destruction. I won't give up though; I will continue using every breath I have, every opportunity I have, to spread these messages. I won't give up.
We all need to pray for a resolution to the war in Syria. If we are already praying we need to pray more, and if we haven't yet prayed we need to start now. Whatever our religion we all need to pray for the people involved in the conflict -- even ones who we may think we despise. We need to pray that all involved, that all the leaders of Syria and the world will listen and do the right thing.
We can't just pray though! We need to stand up and demand that our leaders act, and we need to support all those whose lives have been devastated by what has happened to date. I would appeal to all of you to give whatever you can give -- even a euro or dollar to help those affected by the conflict, to organisations like Unicef,The International Red Cross and Red Crescent and Save the Children.
Looking at the Syrian crisis now, we may not, humanly, be able to see a solution. That's why we need to pray. Prayer is so powerful. All our prayers count. Your prayer may be the one that makes the difference.
