Video captures Syrian helicopter ‘filled with explosives’ being shot down
إلتقاط فيديو أثناء إسقاط طائرة هيلكوبتر سورية ملئية بالمتفجرات.
The Syrian Armed Forces helicopter leaves a trail of smoke as it circles through the rebel anti-aircraft fire, then plummets from the sky before exploding into a huge fireball as its payload of bombs appears to explode.

Man charged with kidnapping journalists in Syria
محاكمة رجل بتهمة إختطاف الصحفيين في سوريا
A 26-year-old man has been charged with the kidnap of a British photographer and another journalist in Syria in July.

Shajul Islam will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow accused of “unlawfully and injuriously” imprisoning John Cantlie, a photographer who has worked for The Sunday Times, and Jeroen Oerleman, a Dutch journalist.

NHS doctor accused of being part of 15-strong British jihadi group in Syria

إتهم طبيب بريطاني بإنه جزء من مجموعة الخمسة عشر الجهادية في سوريا
Shajul Islam, 26, appeared in court yesterday charged with his role in the gang which kidnapped and injured British photographer John Cantlie and Dutch journalist Jeroen Oerlemans in July this year.

Islam, from Stratford, east London, has a first-class degree in biochemistry and trained to be a doctor at St Bartholomew's and a University of London hospital.
